Waist Width: 80
With its 80 mm waist, the Luv Sick will be a shade quicker and edgier than the OohLaLuv, more appropriate to everyday frontside conditions where the snow tends to be a little firmer. It's a similar construction, with full wood core and strategically placed metal reinforcement, sold flat or with a sturdy 11-DIN K2/Marker binding. It's part of K2's All-Mountain collection, which includes six models ranging in width from 75 mm to 85 mm, built for everyday versatility in typical frontside resort conditions. K2's Bioflex cores feature flex patterns specifically tuned for the needs of women, with lighter woods down the middle for reduced swing weight and denser wood over the edges for solid edge grip. Channel Light Cores have grooves milled into them tip to tail to reduce weight and soften flex. The Luv Sick's core is a mix of aspen, paulownia and bamboo, with metal reinforcement in the binding area for durability and high-speed calm. HybriTech Sidewall construction combines a sturdy vertical sidewall underfoot for edge grip, lightweight cap fore and aft for supple flex. Moderate rocker adds a measure of surfiness in soft snow and powder as well as shock absorption in rough terrain; camber underfoot promotes positive edge grip and adds rebound energy.
