After much anticipation, the mothership K2 boot has arrived. A tight ripper, it turned out to be one of the best newcomers we ever tested. The Spyne 130 L.V. (Low Volume; it's available in 100 mm as well) exceeded testers' expectations for on-snow performance and earned high marks for its flawless stance. The boot embraces the core principles of four-buckle overlap design with a mono-injected lower shell and reinforced rear boot and spine construction. Testers vouched for its rock solid rear support and legit 130 flex feel. The Spyne 130 liner is an Intuition three-layer hybrid. There’s huge fit improvement after proper heat molding. Most testers noted that the overly tight toebox fit settled out post-cook. Tester comments:"Sweeet! Rock solid at any speed with an intuitive feel for the snow. Best new boot to market I have been on in a long time."
