Waist Width: 110
The X110 is the widest and heaviest ski in Kästle's Freestyle series, with a 110 mm waist and 1980 - 2480 g weight range. This is a ski that's not necessarily intended for the park, but more so for catching big air in the backcountry and other off-piste areas, much thanks its Early Rise Tip and Tail technology designed to let the ski float over powder and other varied terrain. For something similar but more park-focused, check out the X90 and X80. Kästle's Freestyle series consists of three different models focused on the park, pipe, and backcountry scenes. Woodcore made of beech and poplar is designed to give the ski a stable but lightweight construction. Standard Camber profile is intended for race-like turns no matter what terrain you're on. DUAL Hollowtech technology hollows out the ski's tip and tail, lightening the load and designed to decrease chatter and other vibrations in the ski. Kästle, based in Hohenems, Austria, was founded in 1924. Its U.S. headquarters are in Vail, Colorado.
