All Klint models feature what the brand calls “Reflection Applied Concept,” which means that each model’s performance characteristicsedge contact, flex, running surface, sidecut, etc.are scaled to each available length of that model. Klint claims that this helps adapt those characteristics to each skier’s size, weight, and ability. The Klint Karver is built for aggressive carvers and laid-back cruisers alikeand skiers who might be both. At 72mm in the waist in a length of 172, the Karver sits squarely in the firm snow realm, but probably has enough width to handle might crud and a dusting of fresh snow. It’s an unrockered ski with a whopping 10mm of camber in it’s center, suiting it well for skiers seeking a traditional feel. A full Birch core is said to aid in power transmission and precision.
