The Afterbang, with symmetrical sidecut and flex and traditional camber, is a dedicated park twin-tip with an unusual construction. It’s built using Line’s unusual SkateDeck construction – seven layers of maple laminated together for maximum durability – instead of a traditional core-and-sidewall ski construction. New this year, it gets a simple fiberglass topsheet for enhanced durability, and two of the SkateDeck layers are removed tip and tail for softer flex and easier swing weight. It’s built with softened zones in the tip and tail for easier butters and has carbon stringers for added pop. It’s intended for advanced park-oriented riders. The traditional camber gives it rebound and boost on park hits. The symmetrical flex and sidecut give it optimized bi-directional performance.
