The Soulmate 92 is the wider ski in the two-model Soulmate series, with a 127 mm tip, 92 mm waist, and 115 mm tail. This is an all-new ski from Line this season, and it's intended to ski all terrain smoothly, yet powerfully. This model is designed more towards powder and other varied conditions, but it's built to take on hardpack like a champ as well with its practical underfoot profile. For a similar but more hardpack-focused ski, check out the Soulmate 86. The Soulmate Series is a women's-specific series featuring skis designed with versatility in mind. The two models in the series are intended to ski both powder and hardpack equally well due to the variety of technology they share: A Maple Macroblock core is designed to be extra durable through the integration of maple stringers (strips of maple wood) surrounded by aspen wood. Directional Flex integrates a softer tip and stiffer tail, designed to initiate turns well while maintaining stability in the transition to the next turn. Five Cut technology combines five different sidecut designs, intended to collectively simplify turn initiation and grip. Thin Tip technology, which lightens the tips, is designed to reduce swing weight and chatter. If you're a lady who likes to ski it all and splits time between hardpack and powder, this is the best women's series Line has to offer you. Line, founded in 1995, is based in Seattle, Washington.
