Waist Width: 108
The Supernatural 108 is the second-widest ski in the Supernatural series behind the Supernatural 115. It has a 137 mm tip, 108 mm waist, 126 mm tail, and long, 22.3 m radius. This ski is intended to get the job done on hardpack when it needs to, but at the end of the day, it's mainly designed as a powder ski. It shares several technologies with the entire Supernatural series (see below), but also has a couple of unique aspects to it: Metal Matrix technology integrates die cut metal titanal laminate designed to stiffen the ski and give it more power for those extra burly runs, and Early Rise technology lifts the tips and tails early in the ski (instead of a traditional short tip and tail), designed to make turn initiation and floating over powder easier. For something similar but skinnier, check out the other models from the Supernatural series. The Supernatural series focuses on a wide variety of skiing styles by way of its five different models. Whether you're looking for powder or hardpack, Line has designed a Supernatural ski intended to take it on. Maple Macroblock cores are designed to be extra durable through the integration of maple stringers (strips of maple wood) surrounded by aspen wood. Directional Flex integrates a softer tip and stiffer tail, designed to initiate turns well while maintaining stability throughout the transition into the next turn. Five Cut technology combines five different sidecut designs, intended to collectively simplify turn initiation and grip. Line, founded in 1995, is based in Seattle, Washington.
