Line puts its Prophet series and remaining Influence 115 ski (the 105 was retired in 2013-14) out to pasture this year, introducing the new Supernatural line in their stead. The Supernatural 92 is the narrowest of five offerings in the series, the widest being the Supernatural 115. Line is not known for its hard-snow skis, being more of a freeride- and park-centric brand, so the 92 is as close to the brand gets to a groomer ski. It's a full-wood core (maple and aspen) with a narrow, shaped metal sheet (to save weight) for integrity and power. Shock Wall technology incorporates a full Elastomer sidewall over the edges to absorb vibration and smooth the ride. Early-rise and early-taper tips and tails give it soft-snow maneuverability, and Thin Tip core and sidewall reduce swing weight and tip bounce. The 92's lightweight sibling, the 92 Lite, is the same ski without the metal sheet to save weight and cost."Best off-piste ski for me," said Jeremy Benson. "These things are unflappable. It does everything well. It has a nice, even flex and an easy turn initiation. Nice shape. Great skis."
