One of Meier’s more popular skis, the Doc is a directional twintip built to be a good all-mountain, everyday, do-everything ski for Western skiers. It has early rise in the tip with camber underfoot. All Meier skis are wood-core laminate constructions with metal reinforcement in the binding area. They’re built using Colorado wood–aspen or blue-stain beetle-kill pine–see-through topsheets that highlight the wood, and eco-friendly Super Sap wood-based epoxy. Meier is located near Glenwood Springs, Colo., burial place of Doc Holliday, from whose legend many Meier ski names are taken.
