The Ringo is Meier's dedicated park ski, built with input from local Colorado jibbers. It's designed to be center-mounted, and its symmetrical sidecut behaves consistently going forward or backward. It has aggressive camber underfoot and plenty of sidecut, extending well into the tip, for good edge grip to carve icy park walls and boost high above them. All Meier skis are wood-core laminate constructions with metal reinforcement in the binding area. They're built using Colorado wood--aspen or blue-stain beetle-kill pine--see-through topsheets that highlight the wood, and eco-friendly Super Sap wood-based epoxy. Meier is located near Glenwood Springs, Colo., burial place of Doc Holliday, from whose legend many Meier ski names are taken.
