The Bushy Wayne, with a monstrous, AK-optimized 127 mm waist, is the widest ski Nordica makes. It's the first-ever pro model of longtime Nordica athlete Rory Bushfield. He collaborated on both the design (maximum flotation and surfiness, with a stiff tail for landing big backcountry airs) and the wild graphic, which chronicles his adventure-driven lifestyle as executed by Norwegian artist Peter-John De Villiers. (Note the tribute to Bushfield's late wife, freestyle innovator Sarah Burke, on the tail of his Cessna.) The Bushy Wayne is based on the discontinued Radict, and is offered only in a 187-cm length. The Inspired Freeski collection comprises five models built with powder-ready waist widths and strong, edgy constructions for expert skiers who expect to spend most of their time away from the groomer crowds. Waist widths range from 127 mm in the new Bushy Wayne down to 107 mm in the new El Capo. All have full-length vertical sidewalls for precision and power. That's combined with pronounced rocker for deep-snow flotation and terrain adaption. All have the durability and energetic rebound of full wood cores (or a combination of wood and foam in the case of the women's La Nina). All are sold flat (no binding).
