Waist Width: 78
The Drive 78 CA has a relatively skinny 78 mm waist, not too far from that of a race ski, but it also has the second-widest tip (130 mm) in the All Mountain Women's series, designed for mowing through powder and other various conditions outside of the groomers. These specs make the ski equally intended for both on and off-piste conditions. These all mountain intentions are furthered by Recreational camROCK technology, which lengthens the ski's widest points, designed for better turn initiation and execution. This technology also lifts the tip up, designed to float over powder and other various conditions while its middle section is flat and cambered, designed to make race-like turns. For something similar but skinnier, check out the Elexa. And for something wider and more powder-focused, check out the First Belle, Wild Belle, and Nemesis. The All Mountain Women's series focuses on skis intended to rip any terrain, whether it's powder, groomers, or wherever else you want to ski. The six models within the series have waists ranging from 75 - 98 mm and radii ranging from 10.5 to 20 m depending on length. If you like to ski a little bit of everything, this is one of Nordica's best women's series for you. Nordica, based in Giavera del Montello, Italy, was founded in 1939. Its U.S. headquarters are in West Lebanon, N.H.
