The NRGy 80 is the skinniest ski in Nordica's NRGy series, with a 116 mm tip, 80 mm waist, and 100 mm tail. This is the most hardpack-focused ski in the series, though it's intended to take on powder as well. For something similar but wider and more powder-focused, check out the NRGy 107, NRGy 100, and NRGy 90. The NRGy series focuses on all mountain skis designed with versatility in mind. Whether it's groomers, powder, or whatever other snow you might find yourself on, Nordica says this series is built to take it all on well. Tips and tails have been redesigned for increased playfulness and maneuverability. I-Core Ti integrates titanal into the core, designed to stiffen the ski. This titanal core also has holes cut through it, forming a minimalist bridge-like structure that Nordica calls Torsion Bridge Construction, designed to reduce weight in place of other bulkier materials. All Mountain camROCK technology lifts the tip and tail up and off the ground, designed for floatation and extra maneuverability. If you like to ski a little bit of everything, this is one of Nordica's best series for you. Nordica, based in Giavera del Montello, Italy, was founded in 1939. Its U.S. headquarters are in West Lebanon, N.H.
