The Freethinker is The North Face's most technical, innovative, and bombproof alpine jacket.

It’s engineered with GORE-TEX® Pro Shell & GORE-TEX® Pro Shell Stretch 3 Layer fabrics strategically placed to be extremely durable with progressive styling for all mountain use.

The three layer fabric construction is comprised of a special high performance GORE-TEX® membrane, bonded to a tough outer material and a robust inner lining. The benefit: no movement between the three layers, which means less wear and tear, and even greater durability.

The jacket has GORE-SEAM® tape technology which ensures that all seams are durably waterproof as well as polyurethane waterproof, laser cut, bonded zips.

It also a has a Recco® avalanche rescue reflector, adjustable helmet-compatible fixed hood and pit-zip and back flow vents.

This lightweight innovative jacket provides complete waterproof, windproof, and breathable comfort and protection, allowing hardcore athletes to enjoy longer exposure to harsh conditions without losing body heat.
