Waist Width: 97
The 2016 Rossignol Slat's 97-mm waist is paired with Auto Turn Rocker (early rise tip and tail, camber underfoot) for good powder and soft-snow performance in all types of terrain. It belongs to the S Series Jib collection of park and slopestyle skis, which range in width from 97 mm down to 80 mm. Two models, Slat and Storm, are built for all-mountain versatility and powder jibbing. Two others, the long-successful Scratch and value-priced Sprayer, are more park and pipe oriented. Rossi's Extended Sidecut, where the widest parts of the ski are located beyond the contact point, hooks up and carves with ease. Minicap Sandwich construction-in the Slat, Scratch and Storm-features angled (30-degree) sidewalls for reduced weight and added durability. All models have fiberglass-reinforced wood cores, except the Scratch, which now has a combination wood and lightweight foam core. All are sold flat.
