The Crusade is an all-mountain generalist that combines generous width (88 to 92 mm, depending on length) with a tight, turny sidecut. The Pretrack shovel, with its straight-sidecut section, is designed to give it a loose, versatile, friendly feel that’s enjoyable in soft snow. The signature Venturi construction, in which the tip has a concave shape, gives it a distinctive look. The Crusade is rockered in the tip (over a 375 mm section). It’s a metal-free vertical-sidewall laminate construction with a wood core.
