The Jib is the most park-focused ski in Scott's Freeski series, packed with a variety of technology. It's constructed with beech, poplar, paulownia, and laminate sheets, collectively intended to make the ski lightweight and give it a consistent, versatile flex profile. 3Dimension Sidecut technology gives the tip and tail their own radii, designed for precise edge control. Reinforced steel edges are thicker than those of other Scott models, built to be durable and last through harsh landings and disasters on jumps and rails. Scott, based in Givisiez, Switzerland, was founded in 1958. Its U.S. headquarters are in Salt Lake City, Utah.
