Waist Width: 96
The Superguide 95 is the wider model in Scott's two-model Mountain Skis series. It has a 95 mm waist intended to perform equally well with hardpack and power, and it weighs in between 1330 - 1430 g depending on ski length. For something similar but skinnier, check out the Superguide 88. The Mountain Skis series specializes in the constantly evolving ski touring scene. A wood core is combined with carbon and kevlar, intended to make the ski as lightweight as possible for easier touring. Pro-Tip Rocker raises the tip up and off the ground, meant to make turn initiation and execution easier, especially in powder. 3Dimension Sidecut technology gives the tip and tail their own radii, designed for precise edge control. Full Ski Length Wood Core is intended to give the ski a smooth and evenly distributed flex pattern. Scott, based in Givisiez, Switzerland, was founded in 1958. Its U.S. headquarters are in Salt Lake City, Utah.
