Women-Led Wednesday (much like Small Business Saturday) is a purpose-driven holiday that encourages the general public to use purchasing power to vote for women in leadership. Started by Cassie Abel, founder/CEO/president of one of our favorite technical apparel brands for women, Wild Rye, Women-Led Wednesday makes it easy to find and support women-owned and operated businesses. The directory includes more than 500 vetted businesses across all types of genres—many offering special discounts for the holiday on Nov. 24.

We’ve selected some of our favorite outdoor brands and products here.

Wild Rye Evie Raglan base layer top ($109)

Available in sizes 0-18 and in three funky retro prints, this is one of the softest baselayers I’ve worn and durable too—my top from three years ago is still going strong after regular use. Made with 18.5 micron/100% merino wool, it has a loose, contemporary fit, and a longer silhouette I love while the high neckline, long sleeves, and thumbholes keep cold air and snow out. I wear mine on and off the hill and always pair with the coordinating Jane Leggings. BUY NOW.

Oiselle Katron Yeti union suit ($292)

The Yeti suit is like a sleeping bag you can wear to apres and we are here for it. Wind and water-resistant, the Primaloft® insulation keeps you warm and dry without bulk; and the Polartec® PowerStretch at the side panels, cuffs, and collar make this ultra-cozy. I wish I had one of these last winter when we were all gathering outside in the parking lot at the end of the day! BUY NOW.
