Mt. Washington Valley, NH, Apr. 3-Attitash Bear Peak had a different look to it this past Saturday, as the New Hampshire ski area hosted the Seventh Annual Open On-Snow Golf Tournament.
Seventeen costume-clad teams of four competed in this nine-hole, par 31, best-ball tournament for cash and prizes. Each member of the top three teams were awarded a one-day raft trip, while gift certificates were also given to the top two teams. The best-dressed team received gift certificates as well.
The course was specially designed by Attitash Mountain’s master groomer, Bruni Vallieres, on the Whitehorse trail and was complete with snow walled greens, elevated tees, and bunkers. Throughout the event, each team member was required to be on skis or a snowboard.
The top three teams were:
1st place- Any Hole’ll Do
2nd place- Pajama Party
3rd place- Golfing Doughboys
