Waist Width: 82
The Rotor Chill is the more all mountain-focused ski out of the two models in the Stockli's Freestyle series, the other model being the Rotor 84. It's 82 mm at the waist, between 117 - 120 mm at the tip depending on length, and between 107 and 109 mm also depending on length. These dimensions are intended for the ski to make it all over the mountain and ski all terrain, but at the end of the day, it's a park ski that's just a tad wider than the Rotor 84. Soft Rocker lifts the tip and tail up and over powder and other varied conditions, designed to increase floatation and make turn initiation easier. Meanwhile, 3AX technology integrates fiberglass into the sidewall, designed for durability on burlier terrain. Stockli, based in Wolhusen, Switzerland, was founded in 1935. Its U.S. headquarters are in Shelburne, Vermont.
