Pro Attention, women who don’t like to be patronized with wimpy skis and girly graphics. If it’s power you crave, the Attiva AC3 satisfies—and then some. Testers agreed it’s one of the strongest women’s skis available. That especially pleased those who love to lock in both edges and carve with invincibility through whatever the mountain throws at them. Two sheets of metal give it the edge-grip and stability of heavier skis, but Völkl replaces parts of the wood core with lighter milled foam, and the 76-mm waist is ideal for hard/soft-snow versatility. Thys recommended it for "big spaces, high speeds and aggressive skiing." Con Too burly to be especially quick; will overmatch flyweights and weaklings.
