Attention season pass holders—any and all season pass holders: Aspen Snowmass is introducing a new annual event, a weekend offering anyone with a valid 2019-20 season pass from any ski resort in the world reduced-priced access to all four Aspen Snowmass mountains.
Passapalooza, which takes place the weekend of Dec. 13-15, grants skiers with any 2019-20 season pass access to Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass for $59 per day. During this time in December, regular adult day lift tickets at Aspen Snowmass retail for $162.
The Ski and Snowboard Schools at Aspen Snowmass will also offer $99 discounted lessons, while Aspen’s ski shops will make $56 demo packages available during the celebratory weekend. Ski pass holders can find these discounted packages at Four Mountain Sports stores at the base of each mountain.

Besides discounted tickets, Passapalooza will also host a variety of family-friendly activities and parties. Attendees can look forward to immersive art and light-based installations located at both the Snowmass Base Village and Snowmass Mall. An ice-skating show performed by kids from the Aspen Skating club will take place on Saturday, Dec. 14 at Snow Base Village.
Throughout the season, the resort will offer free ice-skating and skate rentals at the Base Village skating rink. For those who want to head indoors after a long day out the slope, check out free rock climbing at the Limelight Hotel Snowmass’ indoor climbing wall.

The Collective, a new community center at Snowmass Base Village featuring a new restaurant, mix6, Moxibar, and game lounge, will also officially open its doors during Passapalooza. And après-ski doesn’t stop there. Passapalooza attendees at Aspen Mountain looking to relive the ‘80s can attend Little Nell hotel’s “Party Like It’s 1989” event, a party to celebrate the opening year of The Little Nell. The après party will be held Saturday, Dec. 14 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
At the Chair 9 après-ski bar, a DJ will play from 3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the courtyard. The bar will offer fireside seating, cocktails and an outdoor screening of legendary ski films. Attendees can keep the party going at 6 p.m. and move downstairs to get their après-ski dancing fix. Vintage ski apparel is strongly suggested.
