The Ikon Pass has upped the ante in the Great Season Pass Wars this spring with the announcement today of its latest pass perk: All 2021-’22 season pass holders will now have Ikon Pass First Tracks access with their season passes.
The new benefit gets skiers lift access before the general public on three days throughout the season, one each in the months of January, February, and March. As of now, First Tracks will be available at the following resorts:
- Steamboat, Colo.
- Winter Park Resort, Colo.
- Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, Calif.
- Mammoth Mountain, Calif.
- June Mountain, Calif.
- Big Bear Mountain Resort, Calif.
- Stratton Mountain, Vt.
- Sugarbush Resort, Vt.
- Snowshoe, W.Va.
- Crystal Mountain, Wash.
- Tremblant, Que.
- Blue Mountain, Ont.
- Deer Valley Resort, Utah
- Solitude Mountain Resort, Utah
All Ikon Pass products, including the full, Base, and Session passes, will have First Tracks included. Dates will be released by Nov. 1, and may vary by resort.
The 2021-’22 Ikon Pass is on sale now, with the lowest prices set to expire on May 4. For peace of mind after a rocky ski season, the Adventure Assurance program is back, and pass holders who don’t use their pass by Dec. 10 can choose to defer it to the following season. Additionally, if there’s an eligible Covid-related closure next season, skiers will get a credit for the 2022-’23 season based on the percentage of days closed.
