If you’re an Ikon, Epic, or Mountain Collective pass holder stymied by long lift lines and packed parking lots this season, the Indy Pass has got your number. Debuting the Indy Switch Pass for next season, the 82-resort collection of independently owned ski areas is offering a discount to mega pass holders curious about what the Indy Pass offers.

Anyone with a 2021-’22 Epic, Ikon, or Mountain Collective pass can buy an Indy Switch Pass for $259 ($109 for kids) by uploading a receipt from their current pass. Their Switch pass gets them two days with blackout dates at 82 resorts across North America, plus four resorts in Japan. For no blackouts, the Switch+ pass is $359, $159 for kids. Note: There are a limited number of these available, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Indy Pass founder Doug Fish is stoked to have found a way to incentivize skiers who are sick and tired of waiting in lines to come see what the Indy Pass is all about. “Our new Indy Switch Pass presents an option for anyone who bought an oversold mega pass and allows those folks to experience the less crowded, laid-back atmosphere at small-to-mid-sized, independent resorts,” he said. “We invite them to join the Indy Revolution and see what they’ve been missing!”

Fish also announced that there will be no price increase on next season’s passes, which are on sale now. Current Indy Pass holders will get a 10 percent renewal discount as long as they purchase before May 17. All 82 partner resorts are expected to be back. A final list of resorts will be released on May 1, but see the list below for the expected partners.

Also on sale now is the 2021-22 Indy Spring Pass. For $189 ($79 kids), ski for the rest of the current season, with two days at all 82 resorts. Now that’s a challenge we can get behind.
