Today Vail Resorts announced the introduction of the new Epic Day Pass as part of "Epic for Everyone." This pass offers a fresh take on the conventional ski pass by providing a completely customizable experience. It caters to skiers and riders who may not need the traditional unlimited skiing offered by season passes but don’t want to pay steep lift ticket window prices.

Skiing in Breckenridge

Enjoy a day on the slopes at resorts like Breckenridge with the Epic Day Pass.

The Epic Day Pass invites guests to handpick the number of days they plan to ski or ride, from one day to seven days, and choose whether to add holiday skiing or not. The pass allows access anytime throughout the season at any of Vail Resorts North American mountains— think Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Whistler Blackcomb, Keystone, Crested Butte, Park City, and more. If a guest purchases four or more days, they will also gain access to Telluride, Sun Valley, Snowbasin, and the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies (Fernie, Kimberley, Kicking Horse, and Nakiska).

“With Epic for Everyone, we are excited to provide all of our guests with the value, flexibility, and convenience that come with being a pass holder,” said Kirsten Lynch, chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts. “The launch of the Epic Day Pass transforms both season pass and lift ticket pricing and allows our guests to decide where, when, and how frequently they want to ski or ride, which is exactly what made our Epic Pass so popular when we first introduced it over a decade ago.”

Offering a discount of up to 50 percent off window prices, the Epic Day Pass allows guests to ski world-class resorts at an unparalleled price. The base price is $106 for one day, with a decrease in the average cost per day for every day added. The lowest prices for the pass will be found this spring. If you are looking to ski more days, the Epic Pass or Epic Local Pass continue to offer the best value and variety for a full season of skiing at any of the company’s resorts.

Keystone Top 10 Access

The Epic Day Pass provide the opportunity for families to get in a few days at their favorite resorts—including Keystone, pictured here—without committing to the cost of a season pass.

Vail Resorts adds a few more options to their 2019-20 pass lineup with the Keystone Plus Pass and the Summit Value Pass. Both passes take advantage of the upgrades Keystone is planning on making with its snowmaking, providing some of the earliest skiing of the ‘19/’20 season. The Keystone Plus Pass includes unlimited access to Keystone, five days at Crested Butte (both with holiday restrictions) and unlimited skiing at Breckenridge starting April 1, 2020. The Summit Value Pass provides unlimited access to Keystone and Breckenridge, with holiday restrictions.
