Lesson 11: Games to Make Mogul Skiing More Fun
You might not want friends on a powder day, but you’ll want them around when you’re skiing moguls. Half the fun of ripping mogul lines is chasing someone—or being chased by someone—who is a better skier than you. That’s how you become a better mogul skier. And while following someone who is better than you is a great way to learn, slowing down for someone who’s not as good as you is equally educational. Learn to speed up and slow down, or zig instead of zag to follow a friend’s line, and you’ll have mastered the most important skill in mogul skiing (according to Glen Plake): Being ready to be where you want to be, whatever the moguls throw at you.
