SKI Magazine contributing writer and author of Total Skiing Chris Fellows - a well-known ski instructor and director of the North American Ski Training Center - and his world class coaching staff will be hosting a week-long ski training camp at Portillo, August 12-20.  The camp offers 6 days of coaching with PSIA National Alpine Team members, RT ground transportation from Santiago,  lodging, 4 meals/day, 7 day lift ticket, dynamic warm-up & stretching session, tech talks, personalized video reviews, and more!)  The North American Ski Training Center is the ultimate resource for any skier looking to polish fundamentals and skills and master any terrain while getting the most out of your season.  

Chris has also just penned his 2nd book Total Skiing, (published by Human Kinetics Dec. 2010) in which he breaks down skiing skills to their fundamental parts and offers a customizable four-step training program that will take skiers to the next level in his new book Total Skiing.  Total Skiing helps skiers identify and improve weak areas of their skiing arsenals building from the foundation of each movement all the way through tactical choices and execution on the hill.  The book helps skiers classify themselves according to their physical attributes not the terrain that they ski on, Chris offers four different "skier types" and includes sections on assessment and suggestions for improvement based on skier type with corresponding drills that will take skiers to the pinnacle of success.  Available through skiNASTC.com, Human Kinetics, or ski shops and bookstores around the country.
