A-Basin Celebrates 6th Annual Festival of the Brewpubs

ARAPAHOE BASIN, COLORADO – (News Release) – On Sunday, May 27, Arapahoe Basin will be hosting the sixth annual Festival of the Brewpubs. Five local Summit County breweries will be sampling their favorite hand crafted ales. Brewpubs include Backcountry, Breckenridge, Dillon Dam, Pug Ryan1s and Wolf Rock.

A $15 14 oz. souvenir mug can be purchased for unlimited tasting from noon until 4:00 p.m. or while supplies last. (Must be 21 years of age.)

A DJ from Jamin’ Sounds will be spinning tunes in the base area from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Live music starts at 1:00 p.m. with reggae artists, Jubal, on the ticket office steps.

A-Basin is open from top to bottom with great spring skiing and riding conditions. A-Basin currently has a 532 midway base and is open from 8:30 a.m. weekends and 9:00 a.m. weekdays until 4:00 p.m.

All skier services are available including ski and board rentals, tunes, ski school, retail shop, café and bar. Black Mountain Lodge at mid-way is open for lunch and spectacular views of the Continental Divide. For rails, jumps, bumps and thrills, the Treeline Terrain Park is open and caters to all.

At 10,800 feet A-Basin encourages drinking responsibly. Free soda and water will be available for designated drivers during the Festival of the Brewpubs. Dogs must be on a leash.
