From New York City/New Jersey (5 1/2 hours): I-87 (New York Throughway) to Albany, The Northway (I-87) to Exit 20; North on Route 149, east on Route 4, north on Route 100 to Waitsfield. From Connecticut (4-5 hours): I-91 to I-89 at White River Jct., Vt., then same as from Boston, above.
