Two-time Olympian, freestyle mogulsJohnson can’t get enough air. Not only did he compete in the freestyle mogul events in both the Nagano and Salt Lake City Games (he placed seventh in both Olympics) and win four World Cup medals (two gold and two bronze), he continues to log air time today as head coach for the Vancouver Freestyle Ski Club and as a coach at Cypress Mountain (future venue for the 2010 freestyle events). “I learned a lot of lessons at the Games,” Johnson says. “First, it’s a really big deal to participate in the Olympics. Second, everyone there is a champion, in my mind, regardless of whether they win or not.”
