For someone who grew up in Jackson, Wyoming and doesn’t live a ski-bum lifestyle, it’s hard to imagine Andrew Munz would create an on-stage play that speaks so truly to ski culture and life in a ski town.

But he did.

Munz, whose background is in writing and acting, wrote and directed “I Can Ski Forever,” and its sequel “I 2 Can Ski Forever” with his buddy Josh Griffith.

“It’s much more funny to actually target things that are relatable to the audience and shed light on the humorous aspects of what’s really happening instead of over exaggerating things just for a laugh,” Munz says.

And while he doesn’t live every aspect of the cougar-baiting, couch-surfing, free-beer-gulping, transient-living life commonly associated with bro-dom, many of his friends do.

“Once you start making fun of those things, you start to see some of the fun stuff in our culture,” he says.

So, he and 10 friends pulled off an incredibly satirical look into the culture that every skier has lived, witnessed, or been jealous of.
