Aspen 7:30am-11:10am Vertical: 9,800 feet
This could have very well been our best stop and the one we will remember forever. We hit all four Aspen Skiing Company Mountains in little over four hours, soaking up some of most amazing conditions ever experienced by our well-schussed group. Jerry Groswold, a skier since 1935, described the snow as, “the best powder I have ever skied.”
Steamboat resident, Charlie Mayfield reflected on the unmatched conditions and said, “I’ve never skied powder as good as this and I don’t expect to ever again. People ski their whole lives and never get a taste of what we had today. We are truly fortunate.”
