Now that the snow is falling–everywhere–you want to go skiing for the President’s Day holiday. You still can if you act fast. Here are eight great resorts for President’s Weekend holiday. Prices are based on double occupancy unless noted.:

The cost is $91 per adult, per day and $78 for those 16 and under per day. Kids ages six and under ski and stay free. If you just want to come on the weekend, the President’s Week package is a three-night, three-day package that’s valid from February 18 to 20. The cost is $109 per adult per day or $96 for those under 16. In either case, you get slopeside lodging, lift tickets, and complimentary use of the Sports & Fitness Center including the Olympic-sized pool and Jacuzzi. The week is filled with torchlight parades, tubing, ice skating, bonfires and kid’s happy hours. Call 800-243-0011 or go to

You can still find room at Killington if you know where to look. There are “Ski and Stay” packages like the “President’s Birthday Bash” that start at $348 per person, per package, for four-nights lodging and a four-day lift pass. This rate is based on four people in a one bedroom condo and is good from February 21 through 25. Call 800-621-MTNS or go to Just remember to make reservations for the children’s programs, Perfect Kids, for that week.

At Mammoth, it’s tight space from February 17 to 20 but there is some availability from February 13 to 17 at Juniper Springs Lodge, Mammoth Mountain Inn and Alpine Lodge. On those dates, they’re offering a 25 percent discount off a mid-week stay of two nights or more. For example, at Mammoth Mountain Inn, a room with two queen size beds is going for $108.75 versus the usual $145 per night. Call 800-MAMMOTH or go to

There’s limited space at the Inn & Hotel for a family of four. You’ll find prices ranging from $380 to $415 per night for lodging and lifts for a family of four. If there’s just two of you, you’ll find the same deal from $280 to $333 per night for lodging and lift tickets. Your chances are limited during midweek of February 20 to 24, with greater opportunity on the weekends. Call 800-The-LOAF or go to
