Killington, VT, Nov. 1, 2000–Skiers clad in disco attire, princess gowns, superhero tights, and much more, or less, visited Killington’s slopes this Halloween. Visitors were treated with two to four inches of fresh snow that came from a weekend snowstorm.
The Vermont resort currently offers intermediate-to-advanced skiing on Rime and upper East Glade trails. This terrain spans a half-mile in length with a six to 10-inch snow base.
Still in its first week of operations for the 2000-2001 ski season, Killington stopped making snow due to warm temperatures and may restart snowmaking operations this weekend if conditions permit.
