After a morning in the trees, sun and sip on the deck of Gorrono Ranch, a.k.a. “the beach.” Located mid-mountain under Lift 4, it was once a 19th-century Basque shepherding hut. The sheep are long gone, but skiers flock here for pork green chili or a brat—fine accompaniments to a Fat Tire microbrew and views of the Wilson.
