Keystone’s world famous A51 Terrain Park is nationally recognized by various readers’ polls as being one of the top-ranking in North America. If you, or your family, have not witnessed the awesomeness that is A51, this is the winter to come visit. Every year we strive to have the best park in the nation, and every year we get a little closer. Plus, our new Park Manager, Kevin Laverty, brings years of experience and creative ideas to the park. A51 offers progressive terrain for riders and skiers of all abilities. Freda’s Incubator is A51’s beginner area with lots of transition including: small jumps, nice smooth rollers and low, wide boxes to hit your first rail. Kids and families are encouraged and welcome to experiment with their skills or observe the pros who often practice at A51. Next up is Park Lane, The Alley and I-70 for those who have progressed to the next level of park potential. These mid-level areas offer a stepping stone to Main Street. Main Street is located right under the A51 Lift and offers a line of large jumps that Shaun White, Andreas Wiig, Jossi Wells, Simon Dumont and other pro athletes frequent throughout the season. So even if park riding isn’t your thing, you can still be entertained from the sidelines. And the real beauty of the park is that it is completely secluded in its own 96 acre space, filled with unique hits, jibs and rails as far as the eye can see. You might think the park crew consists of artists in disguise as you cruise through. Lap the A51 lift a few times and earn yourself the Park Rat pin with EpicMix technology.
