Kids Rule

Deer Valley’s 14 Children’s Adventure Areas—yes, 14!—keep groms smiling from first chair to last.
DV Content Hub Kids Area Map

At Deer Valley, we know that kids are not just small adults. When it comes to skiing, terrain geared toward young skiers goes a long way to teaching them vital skills—from turning, slowing, and stopping to getting the first little airs—that they need to become lifelong enthusiasts. Which is exactly what we want them to become. We bet you do, too.

Our Children’s Adventure Area Map is a great place to start. The colorful layout directs kids and their parents to each of the 14 areas, such as Ruby’s Tail, Bucky’s Backyard, Oompa Loompa Land, and many more. Features in the Adventure Areas include curvy tree trails, banked turns that help kids learn how to naturally slow themselves down, and even a cabin hidden in the woods. After a few runs with Ruby, Quincy, Bucky and the gang, hit Cushing’s Cabin for a rich cup of cocoa and a fresh-baked cookie. Cheers!
