Want some beer with your leaf peeping? This weekend, sixty New England-based breweries will be tapping kegs at Killington at the resort’s 15th annual Brewfest. Local Vermont favorites Magic Hat and Long Trail, along with award winners Dogfish Head and Olde Burnside will be pouring fall brews, and there will be live music and local, seasonal food.
Also, new this year, Killington’s executive chef Justin Blais has planned a five-course brewmaster’s dinner. He’s paired five of his favorite beers—including Magic Hat’s Hex, which we love—with food from local farms.
The K-1 gondola will be turning for the event, so riders can scope the foliage. Or, if you need a break from drinking, exploring the mountain on foot will get you even closer to the scenery.
