Lindsey Vonn To Divorce

Lindsey Vonn and her husband Thomas Vonn announced Sunday that they have begun divorce proceedings.

The pair married in September of 2007 and since then Thomas Vonn, a former World Cup racer who is nine years her senior, has acted as Lindsey's chief advisor and assistant in coaching her.

Vonn said in a statement that she will "continue to be coached by the U.S. Ski Team and look forward to competing the rest of the season."

Lindsey Vonn and Maria Riesch were victorious at the women's World Cup in Lake Louise this weekend. Julia Mancuso finished strongly, too. "We've got the best downhill team in the world," she said at Saturday night's bib draw, before coming in third in the Super-G. We've got photos from the races.
