GEORGETOWN, Colo., (Loveland Press Release)—As what has been called the best season in years begins to wind down, many people are already thinking about purchasing their passes for next season. Loveland Ski Area Season Passes for the 2006-2007 season will go on sale starting this Saturday, April 8th.

Loveland Ski Area Averages 400 inches of snow annually and boasts one of the longest seasons in Colorado. Loveland has been the first ski area in the nation to open for the past six years and is typically one of the last to close in early May. Loveland Ski Area is well known as the locals ski area in part by providing easy access from Denver and the Front Range, along with free, close-in parking, virtually non-existent lift lines, affordable pricing and 1,365 acres of varied terrain.

“One of the perks of living in Colorado is the ability to ski or ride all season long, and one of the perks of a Loveland Season Pass is that you get one of the longest seasons in the state, said John Sellers, Marketing Director. “Loveland passholders know they can easily squeeze in a half-day without the hassle of satellite parking lots, lift lines and long drives, making our season pass the perfect choice for Colorado skiers and riders.

Passes purchased for the 2006-2007 season will be valid for the remainder of this season. Loveland Ski Area’s closing date has been set for May 7, 2006. Loveland Ski Area guarantees that the spring pass prices for the 2006-2007 season will be the lowest offered price on the following products:

Loveland’s Unrestricted Season Pass:

Ski or ride all season long with no restrictions and no limitations. Enjoy all of Loveland’s 1,365 acres packed full of snow, not people.


New Pass Holders/Returning Season Pass Holders

5 and under: Free/Free

Children (6-14): $129/$117

Young Adults (15-22): $249/$225

Adults (23-69): $269/$243

Seniors (70+): $49/$49

Season pass holders may purchase discounted lift tickets and receive discounts throughout the area on food, sport shop purchases, rental equipment, ski school and more.

Midweek Season Pass:

For the 2006-2007 season, Loveland will offer a Midweek season pass. Purchase this Spring for only $179 and ski or ride Monday through Friday all season long (holiday blackouts apply). Renewal rate is $162.

Starting Saturday April 8, 2006, Season Passes will be available for purchase at , the Loveland Basin ticket office or by phone at 303-571-5580 x136. Prices expire 05/28/06. 2006-2007 Frequent User Cards, ‘4 Paks’ and vouchers for 3 Class Passes will not be available for purchase during the spring season pass sale.

Loveland Ski Area is currently offering late season pricing valid every day through the scheduled closing on May 7, 2006. Late season full day adult tickets for guests ages 15-59 are $40 and tickets for children ages 6-14 are $20.
