Mont Saint Sauveur

Mont Saint Sauveur

The larger and perhaps more well-known half of the Saint-Sauveur and Mont Avila twosome, Mont Saint-Sauveur shares a ridgeline and similar topography with its smaller sibling, but the similarities mostly end there. It has a longer season (October 31 to May 11 recently), greater vertical (700 feet compared to 615 feet), more terrain (142 acres vs. 35), more trails (38 rather than 11), and more uphill capacity (about 10,000 more people per hour.) But whereas Avila (despite a small condo cluster) is primarily a day/night use and snowplay area, Saint-Sauveur is a small but complete resort.
