Mark your Calendar! The Mt. Rose — Ski Tahoe September Value Pass Sale is less than a month away and that means winter is just around the bend. Following a record shattering 2004/05, hopefully we'll witness another beautiful October of heavy snowstorms to bring yet another early season opening (tentatively set for Nov. 10th). Whether the 157-day record season was the result of an incredible snow season (424"), the addition of our 2nd high-speed, base to summit, six-passenger chair, or the opening of the highly anticipated Chutes is tough to say, but regardless, the 40th anniversary season at Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe was spectacular and this coming 2005/06 winter is sure to exceed it.
