My Snow Day

Welcome everybody, to the home of the snow day.
Publish date:

Copper Mountain knows that there are skiers and riders out there who have never experienced the thrill of waking up and hearing that school was cancelled on the radio. There are people who have never spent a whole day in the snow doing anything their heart desired. That’s where we come in. We’re here to provide you with the best snow day you can imagine – whatever that may be.

Here at Copper, snow days usually entail spending long days on the slopes hitting up as much fresh powder as possible, but we want to know what a snow day looks like to you. Maybe it means spending the entire day in your pj’s and watching movies. Maybe it means building a jump in your backyard and finally stomping that new trick. Maybe it doesn’t even involve snow at all. Whatever it is, we want to see it.

We’re running a contest all season long, and all you have to do is tag your snow day photos #MySnowDay #CopperMtn. Show us what a snow day means to you, and get creative! Facebook it, Tweet it, Instagram it, or Pin it. Snap a picture, take a video, paint a picture, write a poem – the possibilities really are endless. We’ll pick a winner for each month of the season, which means you have 5 chances to win. We’re going to make your dreams come true by rewarding our favorite snow days with some super sweet prizes like lift tickets, season passes and swag.

Once the season wraps up (and we finish wiping away our tears), all of our winners will be entered to win a GRAND PRIZE: Your very own snow day experience here at Copper Mountain Resort! Why, you ask? Because we believe that everyone deserves a snow day.

My Whistler tout

My Whistler

How can a place so sprawling and immense also be so intensely spiritual? Call it the Whistler dichotomy. Or, like one writer, call it home and you’ll understand.
