Oktoberfest returns to British Columbia. Whistler’s enchanting European style alpine village provides the perfect setting for a family weekend getaway to celebrate this fall event. This year’s celebration of beer and bratwurst takes place in a Munich beerhall setting, with traditional German food, polka dancing to the sounds of Blaskapelle Karntnerland, an authentic 14-piece band from Austria, and of course, plenty of beer. There will also be lots of free family fun at the Root-Beer Garden for kids including face-painting, crafts, and juggling.
Oktoberfest packages start from $181 based on double occupancy and include two nights’ accommodations and a two-day Oktoberfest pass.
