Angle Fire, NM, Dec. 14, 2000–Thanks to Ozark Air Lines, Texans will now be able to take their skis into New Mexico as easily as they’ve two-stepped into Colorado for years.

Ozark Air Lines, the Missouri based company, will provide service from Dallas, TX (DFW airport) to the Rio Grande Airport in Taos, NM beginning on Jan. 7. Flights arrive and depart every Thursday morning and Sunday afternoon throughout the season. Ozark services brand new, 30-seat Fairchild Dornier 328-300 jets with wide leather seats and in-flight, first-class service.

Taos and Angel Fire are both creating air/hotel packages to facilitate passengers’ vacations. Angel Fire already advertises a deal for $399 per person, which includes four nights lodging at the Angel Fire Resort Hotel, round trip airfare, and transfer service to and from the airport.

“This is a landmark opportunity for northern New Mexico. Passengers will be able to travel directly from Dallas to the Enchanted Circle in a luxurious aircraft with friendly, professional crews at a tremendous discount,” said Sandy Bailey, marketing director for Angel Fire Resort.
