Don’t be intimidated by the long line at Pearl St. Bagels. The place is popular, but the line moves fast and any wait is definitely worth it. The bagels are baked fresh daily and the number of spreads to choose from is almost overwhelming. Pearl St. Bagels has a tradition of not toasting bagels, so don’t even ask, even if that’s how you like them. The bagels are fresh out of the oven and warm anyway, so don’t worry about not having a hot breakfast. You could even get an extra bagel to go and eat it the next day (they don’t go bad very fast). Instead of getting breakfast to go, try bringing your laptop for a day off from skiing, and using their free Wi-Fi to get some work done. Order an excellent, but overpriced coffee and get down to it. If the fluffy bagels are not what you’re interested in, Pearl St. Bagels has a great selection of smoothies to tide you over until lunch on the slopes.
