Durango, CO, June 14–After finalizing its purchaseof 80 percent of Purgatory ski area this past May, the new owners, theDurango Resorts Limited liability Corp., changed the name to DurangoMountain Resort.
By changing the name, management is hoping to create more of a town feel tothe resort by including the famous town of Durango and the ski area andmaking it one four-season destination.
