The Lodge at Vail

One of the first hotels in Vail Village, make sure not to miss the restaurant.
Lodge at Vail

Located in Vail Village on Gore Creek Drive, The Lodge at Vail was one of the first hotels in the Village. While not as fancy as other hotels in the area, it is still walking distance to the lifts, making up for the sometimes so-so service. Instead of cramming into the basic Lodge Room, get a group of friends together and spring for the condominium suites, some of which include fully equipped kitchens and spacious living areas with direct views of Vail Mountain. Make sure not to miss The Wildflower, rated the number one restaurant in Vail by ZAGATSurvey. The restaurant, which focuses on eclectic American cuisine, offers one of the only tasting menus in the area that utilizes seasonal fruits, herbs, and vegetables grown in The Lodge’s own garden. The hotel makes a serious effort to maintain and preserve the environment that they reside in, a noble cause that other hotels in the area ignore.
