The Stowe Inn’s original, small-framed house was built in 1814, and is listed on the National Registrar of Historic Places. Over the next six years the property grew to include a larger brick structure with four chimneys that is still standing today. Once a highly productive creamery, it was not until 1945 that the property became an Inn.
